Clinic Times
We run a specialist clinic the 4th
Wednesday of every month in the main Out Patient’s Department but can, and do,
arrange to see participants for research at a time to suit them.
About Us
Exeter Huntington’s Service is a service
specifically for people affected by Huntington’s Disease and their families.
Our aim is to provide support, monitoring, interventions and advice for people
with HD and their families, to enable individuals to stay at home for as long
as they wish, or are able to.
We also have access to Speech and Language Therapy, OT, Physiotherapy,
Clinical Psychology and a Dietician. We work very closely with our Social
Services colleagues.
Referral to our service is usually via the Genetics team, GP or other Health Professional and colleagues
working in the field of HD in rest of the
UK.

are a research active site and we are actively recruiting to Enroll HD, do
refer to other major centres for studies and very much hope to offer clinical studies in
Exeter in the very near future.
