World Congress on Huntington's Disease 2005 announced
10th-13th September, 2005, Manchester, UK
The next World Congress on Huntington's Disease will be held in
Manchester from Saturday 10th September to Tuesday 13th September 2005.
The Congress is a joint meeting of the World Federation of Neurology
Research Group on Huntington's Disease and the International Huntington
Association (IHA), organised every two years in association with the
other clinical, scientific and patients' organisations concerned with
HD. Since the 2003 Congress in Toronto the meeting has been
restructured to offer a scientific program open to both researchers and
HD organisations. The scientific programme will include
presentations covering genetics and genetic counselling, drug discovery
and development, pathogenesis, clinical neurology, neuropsychology,
neuropsychiatry, the latest advances in therapeutics, clinical trials,
public policy and education, given by some of the leading clinical and
scientific researchers in the field. The Congress will therefore be of
interest to all researchers and health professionals interested in HD,
and to members of the HD organisations.
