GLASGOW HD CLINIC
The clinic is held every Wednesday at the 
Clinical Genetics Outpatients Department,
New Laboratory Building
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital,
Glasgow, G51 4TF 
 

REFERRAL TO THE CLINIC

Any client who lives within the Greater Glasgow Health Board region can be referred to the clinic through the genetics department, their own GP or HD Specialist, or by another Health Care Specialist involved in their care. Referrals should be in writing to the Glasgow SHA office.
 
The HD management clinic is a joint venture between NHS GG&C and the Scottish Huntington’s Association
 

Services Offered

· Medical review
· Mental Health Assessment 
· Symptom management
· Cognitive & Psychology Assessment
· Referral to the research clinic for inclusion into the various studies if eligible  

Research Clinic

The Research Clinic is held every Tuesday at the Glasgow Clinical Research Facility in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. At the present time the Glasgow site is involved in the following studies:-
  • Enroll-HD
  • Clarity-HD
  • Amaryllis (no longer recruiting for this study)
